We are teaching the computer science concept, functions, through a Virtual Reality cooking game using Google Daydream. It is a game in which the player is cooking for aliens in a space kitchen and using functions to make it more efficient. It will be teaching the students why functions are used as our research showed that it is difficult for them to understand that aspect. This game will be available as a teaching tool for teachers to use with their lesson plans. We are currenlty designing the experience and playtesting it to make it an engaging and immersive experience for middle and high school students.
